The main purpose of these racks is to mount networking equipment viz. switches, patch panels, etc. They come with default vertical cable managers for routing the cables. They are also available from 18U to 48U. Width would be 800mm and depth can vary from 800mm to 1200mm. Further Wall mounted racks are also available from 6U to 15U for housing single switch, routers, firewall, etc. The depth can be either 500mm or 600mm. Apart from the above, if there is high density of cables, then there is the option of Open rack, which is specifically for managing high density of cables. It is a two-post open frame rack with HDCM (High Density Cable Managers) on each side to manage the cables. The width of these HDCMs can be 6”, 8” or 12”.
